Practice Dance Wednesday, December 10th, 6-8 pm at Willowood Ranch (Free)
*Not sure how to act or what to do at a formal dance? Join us for a fun and relaxed Practice Dance where students can learn simple dance moves, brush up on manners, and get comfortable with what to expect at the Winter Formal. We’ll cover everything from basic steps and partner etiquette to how to enjoy the evening with friends confidently.
A reminder email with full details (location, time, and what to bring) will be sent out before the practice.
Registration Details
All tickets are $45 per student; tickets are non-refundable.
Parents, please register only your own students.
Attendees must be between the ages of 12 and 18
If you are registering more than 5 students, please submit an additional registration form.
Space is limited to 150 tickets total — registration will close once capacity is reached.
Payment must be completed to secure your student’s spot at the Winter Formal.

Winter Formal tickets will be available for credit/debit card purchases only and will be limited in availability. Start HERE

This dance is hosted for members of the homeschool community. Attendance is limited to homeschooled students only.
Exception: A homeschooled student may invite one non-homeschooled guest as a date. Guests must follow the same dress code and behavior expectations.
To foster a good relationship with the host of this event, dates may only be of opposite biological sex. Belief Statement of Willowwood Ranch may be found HERE.

Doors open at 5:45 PM for entry to the dance. If you would like to use the property for photos beforehand, you may arrive as early as 5:00 PM. Please note that indoor facilities will not be available until the doors open.

No. Students are asked to enter the building without parents or guardians. Families are welcome to take photos outside beforehand and then say their goodbyes before students head inside.

Each area of the venue will always have parent chaperones present. If you are a parent interested in chaperoning, email us at truenorthtexoma@gmail.com with your contact information.

Yes! All attendees are required to adhere to the dress code. If an attendee does not follow the dress code, no entrance to the dance will be allowed & no refund will be offered. View Dress Code

Yes. 7-12 graders only (ages 12-18), and must be a current homeschool student.

Not at this time! We reserve the right to search any container larger than a small purse.

We’ll have drinks, snacks, and desserts available throughout the evening. A full meal will not be provided; therefore, please plan to eat dinner beforehand.

This event is intended to be peanut- and tree nut–free. Although precautions will be taken to provide a peanut- and tree nut–free environment, the presence of cross-contamination or other allergens cannot be entirely eliminated. Participation is undertaken at the discretion of each attendee, and the organizers disclaim any liability for allergic reactions.

Respect Event Leaders: This is a chaperoned event. By attending, participants agree to respect the authority of all Chaperones and/or Adult Supervisors.
Closed Event: The dance is a closed event, meaning students are not allowed to leave and re-enter the venue.
Appropriate Behavior: Attendees are expected to refrain from inappropriate physical contact or public displays of affection.
Zero Tolerance for Prohibited Items: Absolutely no tobacco, alcohol, weapons, or drugs of any nature permitted.
Dancing: Dancing should be fun and safe. There will be no slam-dancing, moshing, grinding, or other dancing that could be considered by the Chaperones as having the potential to cause an injury or be sexually provocative.
Mature Conduct: Mature behavior is expected; compliance with the guidelines is non-negotiable. If a student is required to leave by a Chaperone, parents may be notified. No refund will be issued.
